The city of Adrian is getting into the holiday spirit as they are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for most amount of cut and lit Christmas trees in one place. The previous record was 559, held by the Hallmark Channel, but during this year’s Comstock Christmas Challenge, the city of Adrian will attempt to light a total of 610 trees. The festive idea was thought up by local holiday buff, Jim Berryman, and he is looking for $50 donations to help with the event.

Key Takeaways:

  • The 2018 Comstock Park Christmas River Walk featured a grand total of 247 Christmas lights.
  • For 2019, the city of Adrian is going for the world record of most Christmas trees in one location.
  • The goal is 610 Christmas trees, enough to beat the current record of 559, set by the Hallmark Channel.

“Comstock Park will be the site of a Guinness World Record attempt this December, and the city is looking for the community’s help.”
